Shifts: 4 or 5 days a week, occasional weekends.

Salary: Competitive dependent on skills & experience + 4% shift enhancement.

We are looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner with experience in Spinal Complex cases or Neuro to join our Theatre department at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated Good by the CQC. The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.
The Wellington Hospital provides the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. They have 11 Theatres across 3 buildings covering multiple surgical specialties. Successful candidates will be part of a large theatre team of colleagues, experienced professionals.
The Wellington Hospital has a successful track record of career progression, offering support, and development to those seeking to aspire higher or widen their knowledge. Including offer a Surgical First Assistant Course.
Main duties of the job
- As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, youll support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients.
- You will be a team player who is confident to run theatre lists and set up theatres.
- You will have an impressive level of Spinal or Neuro knowledge and will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in the theatre setting.
