We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team at our Leaders in Oncology Care and Harley Street Clinic sites, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC. This is a brand new post due to growth.
Based in London's medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renown campus that house several centres of excellence from to Complex Oncology to Cardiac to Diagnostics.
Main duties of the job
Role:Senior Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management
Location:Leaders in Oncology Care and The Harley Street Clinic, Central London
Hours:Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with contribution to weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota basis
Contract Type:Permanent
Salary:Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician working in Medicines Management, you will be rotating across various specialities, including both outpatient and inpatient settings at both Leaders in Oncology Care and Harley Street sites.
The successful applicant will work withthe Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology in running an outpatient technician-based medicines optimisation/management service and maintaining the SACT e-Prescribingportfolio. Within the inpatient setting you will be working with the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Cardiac and Surgical services, and play a vital role within the pharmacy inpatient service and discharge planning team.
The post holder will have day to day responsibility for various elements within medicines management/optimisation and will support with training and development of trainee technicians/pharmacy assistants.
We have a strong emphasis on pharmacy technician development and there will be opportunities to gain further clinical pharmacy qualifications within the role.
