Shift pattern 4 and 5 days 7.30 -3.30, 7.30 18.00 and 7.30 21.00

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to build your own service so we are looking for candidates that can demonstrate strong Clinical skills with outstanding relationship building qualities that can work with our internal management teams and external Orthopaedic suppliers to source the equipment required. There will be no direct reports however the role requires a lot of Theatre Co-Ordination across the team and some HR tasks.

Were looking for a Lead Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Team at The Harborne Hospital.

The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in January 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.
