Job summary

Chedington is Hobbs new state of the art site which is growing at an exciting speed. This is allowing us to buildupon our already experienced multidisciplinary team so that we can offer exceptional rehabilitation to moreclients. Chedington has a number of pieces of exciting Neurotechology, including the only UK Lokomat that is ableto treat both paediatrics and adults. At Chedington we are really lucky to have the opportunity to think beyondthe normal remit for therapy and can be more imaginative with our approach. We are able to use activities such aspaddleboarding on site and rock climbing to challenge our clients within functional and fun tasks and have thespace and environment on site to take clients on adaptive cycle rides but with still a strong focus on excellence in therapy.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic experienced neurophysiotherapist to join our existing MDT working out of this world-class facility, providing intensive rehabilitation for adults and children with a variety of neurological conditions, including stroke, TBI, SCI and polytrauma and amputation.

We are passionate about pursuing the latest advances in research and technology to support ourclients and staff to achieve their full potential, through involvement in research projects, development of servicesusing advanced technology, and support for training and CPD.

Main duties of the job

The person who gets this role will have the exciting opportunity to be able to join the team at an early stage ofdevelopment of our service and will be able to help us mould what we can offer at Chedington. We receive a widerange of referrals from different sectors such as medico-legal, NHS, therapist led and charity based and selfreferrals.Hobbs partners with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) Injured Players Foundations (IPF), Help for Heroes,Injured Jockey Fund and the Spinal Injury Association (SIA), to name a few.

The Senior Physiotherapist will be atHobbs Chedington as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, working with inpatient and outpatient clientswho have complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spinal Injuries, and complexpoly-trauma including amputees. The post-holder will have excellent clinical skills and experience in neurologicalrehabilitation across the clinical pathway, including assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Supervision and training will be provided, as well as access to exciting CPD opportunities, including working withadvanced neurotechnologies and involvement in national and global research projects.
