Were thrilled to announce a rare opening for the unique position of a clinical lead to work nights at The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is a 4 bedded child and adolescent mental health unit based in Darwen, Lancashire. The service is an independent hospital delivered by Associated Wellbeing. The service aims to provide step-down from child and adolescent mental health inpatient units. The Lighthouse is in a privileged position to have its own inhouse multi-disciplinary team made up of Nurses, Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist and Registered Social Worker, these are professionals you would work closely with within the role as Clinical Lead.

Main duties of the job
What we want from you
You must be a qualified Nurse, desirably a Mental Health Nurse, although not compulsory.
You must have previous management experience as the role of Clinical Lead requires you to line manage Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care, professionalism and ethical conduct.
Passion for making a difference in the lives of the children we care for.

Support you will be joining an experienced management team and will be supported in your role by the multi-disciplinary team and senior leadership team within Associated Wellbeing. You will receive regular 1:1 supervision from the Registered Manager at The Lighthouse.
