Job summary
A nursing associate is a member of the nursing team in England that helps bridge the gap between health and care assistants and registered nurses.
Nursing associates work with people of all ages, in a variety of settings in health and social care. The role contributes to the core work of nursing, freeing up registered nurses to focus on more complex clinical care.
It's a stand-alone role that also provides a progression route into graduate level nursing.

You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills. A strong commitment to your ongoing professional education and development is essential. There are a number of highly sought after training opportunities available for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality holistic person-centred care to children and adolescents that we support. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are able to therapeutically engage with young people, carers and external agencies.
To provide clinical leadership, motivation and guidance to develop both new and existing staff whilst maintaining commitment and high professional standards within the organisation.
About us
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Nurse Associate, who would like to make a positive change to the lives of young people that we support. Associated Wellbeing are currently advertising for a Nurse Associate to join the organisation within our provision The Elms. The Elms is a 8 bedded care home for young people aged 16-25 in Yorkshire. The Elms will have a range of interventions available to the young people we support and the provision is designed to support young people completing a full DBT therapy package.
The Elms will support young people of 16yrs+ moving into adulthood. The Elms will provide evidence-based, trauma informed, health and social care for young people. It will allow for a smooth transition into adulthood within a homely environment. The Elms is specifically designed to meet the Young Persons developmental needs and to offer emotional, relational support, as well as environmental, security and safety support.
