Lead Nurse Primary Care Services
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Place of Work: Princes Risborough and Clinic locations at Buckinghamshire
Salary: In the range of £42,000 £47,000 dependant on experience
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Lead Nurse to join our clinical team at FedBucks. The successful candidate will be responsible with the Lead GP for PCS in ensuring a high level of clinical care and governance is provided to patients, meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements, and leading the clinical team, providing strong clinical knowledge, leadership to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the services including patient management, audits, and clinical care.
You will also will provide support and leadership to the clinical and operational staff within PCS Services. This will include providing clinical advice to deliver the Services, managing audits, participate on quality meetings and making sure that PCS services are compliant to all CQC legislation.

- Support the clinicians recruitment to recruit competent and skilled staff to all vacancies.
- Build strong relationships with local regulator/providers and Social Services
- Comply to all CQC legislation.
- Manage and monitor medication process to ensure 100% compliance.
- Complete all relevant audits to ensure compliance both internally and externally.
- Review clinical pathways
- Participate on clinical and quality meetings
- Contribute to discussions within FedBucks on the development of the Services and expansions, sharing experience and learning from working in the service.

- Proven post registration experience working in Primary care
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable
- Evidence of participation in clinical supervision either in the supervised or supervisor role
- Experience in leading on safeguarding issues
- Evidence of teaching and assessing others
Qualifications

- 1st level Registered Nurse with current registration within the UK
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development CPD
- Basic Life Support

- Teaching and assessing qualification
- V300 Independent and Supplementary Prescribing
Skills and Knowledge

- Basic IT skills
- Demonstrable evidence of multi-professional multi-agency working
