Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be working in partnership with the clinical leadership team to manage the day-to-day operations of our Urgent Care Services. (24/7)
You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to meet company goals and objectives. Main duties of the job
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
- Lead and Support the UCS service to meet contractual obligations and safe service delivery.
- Managing service delivery for Out of Hours and CAS Service, with oversight of Service Managers within our Urgent Treatment Centres.
- Accountable for delivery of high quality and safe service delivery within budget.
- Ensure compliance for all UCS sites to ensure we meet our obligation for Health and Safety and CQC.
- Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- To provide strong, effective and visible leadership, whilst maintaining our company values, keeping staff engaged both in and out of hours.
- Holding teams to account for their roles and responsibilities through regular review meetings.
- Participate in and maintain an on call rota to support patient safety and service needs.
Experience:
- Strong leadership experience within NHS / urgent care setting
- Excellent communication to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- High level of IT skills especially in Microsoft Office, teams, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ideally experienced in using both Rota master and Adastra
- Ability to analyse complex data and make strategic decisions
- Ability to build relationships with senior professionals across the health and social care sectors.
