Registered Nurse – Surgical Wards

Location: KIMS Hospital - Maidstone

Contract: 40 Hours Per Week Permanent

Salary: £30,400 - £34,500 per annum.

As a registered staff nurse, you will work closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver high-quality, safe and efficient surgical care. Our average patient ratio of 1:5 ensures you have the time to focus on what matters most — providing attentive, compassionate care and building meaningful patient relationships.

This is an exciting time to join KIMS Hospital. With the launch of new services and growing patient demand, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding surgical service, delivering exceptional care across the entire patient journey – from admission through to discharge.

This role is for 40 hours per week working 3 days per week between the hours of 07:00 – 20:30 or 20:00 - 07:30 Monday to Sunday.

Main duties of the job

Role Responsibilities

As Registered Nurse you will:

• Always demonstrate good clinical practice and be accountable for own actions, working within the NMC code of conduct.
• Assess, plan, and deliver care, based on individual patient needs, across both inpatients and day surgery patients.
• Act as role model, promoting a learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care.
• Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
