Are you an experienced staff nurse who is looking to progress your career? Would you like the time to care with an average nurse to patient ratio of 1 to 5?
Due to the launch of new services and an increase in patient activity we have an exciting opportunity for motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Team as a Senior Staff Nurse. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, mentoring junior staff to deliver excellent care across the whole patient journey from admission to discharge.
Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities include:
As a Senior Staff Nurse you will
- Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions, working within the NMC Code of Conduct
- Assess, plan and deliver care, based on individual patient needs
- Maintain accurate records of patient care
- Work within a team, supervising, mentoring and supporting junior staff and deputising for senior staff when necessary.
- Demonstrate high standards of integrity and honesty, maintaining patient confidentiality.
