Staff Nurse – Outpatient | Maidstone

KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting. We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient team as a Staff Nurse. This role is ideally suited to a Nurse who would like to utilise their outpatient nursing experience in a clinical setting that promotes a one team culture and the time to care.
As a Staff Nurse you will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary Outpatient team, carrying out procedures including wound care, phlebotomy, plastering and minor ops along with some gynae and urology procedures.
This role is a bank role and therefore a zero hour contract working flexibly to cover absence and fluctuating hospital volume. Available shifts will be Monday to Saturday 07:30 – 20:30
Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating outstanding clinical practice at all times
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team led by a supportive senior nursing team
- Plan, implement and deliver a holistic patient centred care to a group of patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records utilising the most up to date evidenced based care and guidelines
- Working to develop a strong, effective team by developing the vision and strategy of “health care at its best”
