Our Physical Therapy department at KIMS Hospital is a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Hand Therapists, Women’s Health Specialist and a Consultant Sports Physician to provide exceptional patient care throughout the entire patient journey. We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team. The individual will play a vital role in the development of therapy services, ensuring a first class service is provided for our patients.
As a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist, you will assess and treat outpatients and determine independent clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated, and maintain records in accordance with professional standards.
You will be a patient focused Physiotherapist with experience in MSK and Orthopaedics and a demonstrable ability to build relationships with both patients and consultants to provide healthcare at its very best. You will have evidence of your own continue
Main duties of the job
- To carry out assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience
- Formulate and deliver physical therapy treatment programmes based on clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
- Maintain accurate written record standards and to monitor those of more junior Physical Therapists
- Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures in line with the CSP, CQC and other governing bodies
- Engage with other medical professionals both internally and externally, maintaining professional clinical relationships
- Be flexible to working patterns across weekdays and weekends, as the department operates across 7 days Inpatient and Outpatients
