Contract: Permanent - 26 Hours Per Week

Salary: £15810.81 per annum, this is the equivalent of a full time salary of £22500 per annum

Shifts: 2 shifts per week.  Monday - Sunday 07:30 - 20:00 or 19:30 - 08:15 on a rota basis

Location: Maidstone

Job Summary:

KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting.   We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a desire to provide healthcare at its very best, to join our Inpatient team as a Care Support Worker.  This role is ideally suited to someone who has previously worked in a health care environment as a Care Support Worker, Health Care Assistant, Clinical Support Worker, Imaging Assistant or Nursing Assistant. 

As a Care Support Worker you will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary Inpatient team, monitoring patients conditions pre and post surgery, escalating to the nursing staff where necessary.

Main duties of the job

Role Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions
• Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, ecg's post surgery.
• Chaperone patients when required
• Willing to undertake phlebotomy when appropriately trained
• Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
