Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, communal areas and offices.  You will be detail orientated and work well both as an individual and as part of a team.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
  • Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
  • To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital
  • Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements.

Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week, working a weekly rotation shift of 7.00am-3.00pm & 12.00pm – 8.00pm
