This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and dedicated team providing administrative support in a young people's mental health service in Haringey, North London.
Open Door is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of free and confidential psychological therapies to young people aged 12-24, and a separate consultation service for parents of teenagers and young adults aged 12-18. Last year we worked with over 900 young people, parents and carers offering over 9,000 appointments. Open Door is funded by the NHS, Local Authority, charitable trusts, and donations
Open Door is based in Haringey, North London, home to some of the most deprived and also some of the most affluent communities in the capital. We are committed to providing a service across the borough from our main bases in Crouch End and Tottenham as well as in secondary schools and online.

Main duties of the job
Take and process referrals
Correspondence and communication with patients, professionals and other contacts, by letter, phone, email, etc
Set up appointments in the patient management database and ensure patient records are up to date at all times
Provide administrative support to Open Door's clinical team
Ensure that patients attending appointments are appropriately greeted
Liaison and co-operation with other administrative staff, volunteers, and the clinical team
Organisation of waiting room, resources and notice boards
Organisation of room bookings for OD and private therapists
Booking and maintaining records for interpretation services
Support the Intake Team to ensure the waiting list is properly managed and updated
Communicating with and having knowledge of other local services as required
Responsible for opening and closing the office
