Advanced Nurse Practitioner Telephone Triage- Option to work either 30 hours or 15 hours per week.

Our Requirements Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Telephone Triage)
- Professional NMC registration
- Masters level qualification in Advanced Practice Nursing, or working towards with extensive experience relevant to role
- Ability to effectively triage patients remotely
- Theoretical and practical knowledge across a wide range of clinical conditions
- Ability to work autonomously, making decision independently within your professional limitations
- Experience assessing undifferentiated conditions to form a clinical diagnosis
Although not essential, post registration experience in either Primary Care, A&E, Walk-In Centre, AMU, MIU, District Nursing, Rapid response, Ambulance etc. would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
he Role Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Telephone Triage)
Reporting to both the Practice Manager and the Clinical Lead, youll be joining our friendly team of healthcare professionals at the Presteigne Medical Centre.
As an autonomous practitioner your primary focus will be on using your expert knowledge to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer presenting patients to relevant services, through telephone triage, whilst providing in-person appointments when necessary and working collaboratively with the general practice team.
The Package
- Permanent contract
- Option to work either 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm with an early finish at 12:30pm on Wednesdays, or on job share 15 hours per week
- Pay rate in the region of £23.20 to £26.44 per hour (equivalent to FTE salary in region of £36,192 to £41.246 based on 30 hours per week)
