Main duties of the job
The post holder will
support the Director of Service Delivery in the effective and safe operational delivery
of GP Cares patient centered clinical services.
The post holder is
responsible for all aspects of the operational management and delivery of clinical
services provided.
Supported by a team of
service leads, the post holder will work and collaborate closely with senior
clinical staff, Head of Patient Safety, Quality and Improvement (PSQI) and Executive
Directors to review, develop and improve service delivery.
The post holder will
ensure that through innovative, effective and efficient operational management
we deliver patient centered services that ensure:
o Patient satisfaction and safety including equitable access to services.
o Sustainable ongoing achievement of KPIs in conjunction with the service
leads, senior clinical staff and Head of PSQI
o Employee satisfaction
o Highly and efficiently utilised clinical resources including both
directly employed and sub-contracted resources within the required budget.
o Stakeholder engagement and service improvement.
You will be accountable
for the overall delivery of relationship management with our clinical
sub-contractors and third-party suppliers driving continuous improvement of our
services through management of the Service Leads. These Service Leads in
addition will work collaboratively with external clients e.g. Commissioners,
GPs and practice staff ensuring effective communication and building of strong
relationships.

GP Care is a social enterprise, based in Bristol, supporting
the delivery of diagnostic and treatment services in community settings across
the South West. The majority of services are NHS commissioned and include non-obstetric
ultrasound, DVT diagnostic and treatment service and one stop shop urology
diagnostic and treatment. We also run a private
minor surgery service for self-funding patients. While over 95% of patients each
month rate the service they receive as good or very good, GP Care is not
complacent and is always striving to do more to ensure the best treatment and
care for people using our services.
