Job summary

We are looking for a vascular scientist to join our team of sonographers and vascular scientists across Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, and Swindon.

We are a flexible employer with a position available for up to full time hours. If you're looking for part time hours, please do apply or reach out for a conversation.

Main duties of the job

Job Purpose

To carry out high quality diagnostic patient focussed ultrasound examinations and provide a clear and concise report in line with local guidelines. To perform ultrasound examinations relevant to the clinical history documented on the ultrasound referral and produce a written report based on the findings. To utilise specialist ultrasound knowledge to ensure that images are of the highest diagnostic quality. To maintain professional standards and effective communication to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective community ultrasound service. You will be a key part of team where the ability to use your own initiative, multi-task, act unsupervised and prioritise activity are all essential. You will deliver the ultrasound service from multiple clinic locations. Please see our website for a full list of locations.
