This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to progress to a longer-term role.

Main duties of the job

  • As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional MRI diagnostic imaging services. You will ensure clinical safety and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct MR/CT scanning sessions independently, making clinical judgments and critical decisions based on your knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care in a safe, clean, and organized working environment, adhering to all DHC/Trust policies and maintaining exceptional professional and personal standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional MRI diagnostic imaging services. You will ensure clinical safety and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct MR/CT scanning sessions independently, making clinical judgments and critical decisions based on your knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care in a safe, clean, and organized working environment, adhering to all DHC/Trust policies and maintaining exceptional professional and personal standards.

Your Profile:

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day schedule (Monday-Sunday).
  • In-depth knowledge of Radiographic techniques.
  • Demonstrated understanding of patient care, health & safety, and continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and focus.
  • Ability to build exceptional relationships within a diverse, dynamic working environment.
