Job summary
We are looking for an experienced ADHD Specialist Practitioner to join our growing Adult ADHD Service. This is an autonomous, clinically focused role where you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across the full ADHD pathway for adults aged 18+.
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological treatment, titration, and ongoing review, primarily through remote consultations.

Main duties of the job
As an ADHD Specialist Practitioner, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adults
- Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication in line with NICE and local guidance
- Provide holistic, person-centred reviews, evaluating treatment effectiveness and safety
- Support patients throughout their ADHD journey with specialist advice and education
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and support Shared Care arrangements with Primary Care
- Identify safeguarding concerns, manage clinical risk, and refer to external agencies where appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reports
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
