Salary £40,000 per year
£1000 bonus when completed 12 months service.
Full time (4 on, 4 off) and Part time roles available shifts will include days and Nights.
Average estimated overtime £3500 per annum

No previous forensic experience required as full training will be given.
The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
Main duties of the job
The custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs, as well as gather any forensic samples needed by the police to aid their investigations. Making careful records on our computerised systems, you'll be assessing whether people are fit to be detained or released, administering medications when needed, and working with local Liaison and Diversion teams to address root cause issues that can prevent future crime.

To deliver
the requirements of the forensic practitioner service following the Codes of Practice
of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and the locally agreed
protocols.
2.
Provide
advice and support to custody officers in determining the health care needs
of detainees and the priorities of care, seeking advice from Seniors, Lead Seniors
and Clinical Leads / Consultants on call when required.

other members of the team to ensure that the service is provided at all

people and adults who have support needs.
