Spire Parkway have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedChemotherapy SpecialistNurseto join our welcoming Oncology team, You will join our bank and be someone who is committed to delivering the highest quality care to our patients.
Acting as a role model for Spire Healthcare, the successful candidate will be responsible to, and supported by the senior nurses. The post holder will be a member of the team that assess and safely administer SACT treatments and provide information and support to patients undergoing anti-cancer treatment.

Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assess patients health and well being across a complex and changing caseload of cancer patients
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs throughout the cancer treatment pathway
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information related to cancer patient care
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others in the management of SACT
- Promotes best practice in health and safety and security
- Assist in maintaining and developing cancer services
- Contribute to quality improvement within cancer services
- Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI
