We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse for our Staffing Bank based on the wards at Spire South Bank Hospital. This role would suit candidates who are looking for a work/life balance and are very flexible.

Main duties of the job

  • You will support in assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.

Job responsibilities

Who we're looking for

  • You will be a Registered Nurse.
  • Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical ward experience, 1 year post qualification
  • Have been employed in surgical or acute hospital settings
  • Be used to working in teams with minimum supervision.
  • Experience of working in an acute environment.
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
  • A surgical background is essential.

Working Hours:We operate a 24/7 ward and offer both days and night shifts.

Contract Type:Bank ad-hoc shifts
