Bank Healthcare Assistant - Pre Operative Assessment | Leicester | Flexible Hours
Spire Leicester Hospital is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly Pre-Assessment Team on a bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and wants to work flexibly in a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment, you will work alongside our clinical team to support patients preparing for surgery. Your duties will include:
Assisting with pre-operative assessments including observationsSupporting nurses and clinicians in preparing patients for their upcoming proceduresAccurately documenting patient information and escalating any concernsProviding reassurance and clear information to patientsMaintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone with:
Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role within a hospital or clinical settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence in taking basic clinical observations and carrying out phlebotomy proceduresAbility to work flexibly across shifts, including weekdays and weekends as requiredA compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to patient careNVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to work towards this qualification) is desirable
