Job summary

Spire Alexandra Hospital are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the bank within outpatients. You are looking for an experienced HCA within Outpatients or acute surgical wards looking or flexible shifts.

Main duties of the job

  • Assisting the outpatient team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patients health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Job responsibilities

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Experience ideally within OPD, will consider acute surgical ward or POA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
    • Working Hours: Shifts are on an adhoc basis. Between 08:00-21:00 Mon-Friday and 08:00-16:00 Sat Contract Type: BANK, 0 hours contract Benefits
  • Bank colleagues are paid weekly
