Main duties of the job
As Nursing Manager, you will:
Lead the Pre-Assessment service, setting high standards for safe, effective, patient-centred care
Drive team performance through strong clinical and operational leadership
Oversee the full patient pathway, ensuring assessments are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality
Take accountability for KPIs, service delivery, and day-to-day operational performance
Embed a culture of clinical governance, continuous improvement, and best practice
Lead audits and implement meaningful improvements that enhance patient outcomes
Ensure full compliance with CQC and professional standards
Manage staffing, resources, and budgets effectively in partnership with finance teams
Build strong working relationships with consultants and key stakeholders
Identify opportunities to innovate and improve the patient experience
Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion within your team
