Your Role:
As a Specialist CYP Nurse, you will:
Deliver high-quality, planned care for children, young people, and their familiesAssess and manage a diverse and evolving paediatric caseloadChampion and actively promote family-centred careAct as a strong advocate for children's rights, equality, and safeguardingCommunicate complex and sensitive information with clarity and empathyWork collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomesSupport the development and improvement of CYP servicesMaintain the highest standards of infection prevention, safety, and clinical practice

Qualifications & Training
Registered Children's Nurse (RCN)Child Protection Level 3 trainingPaediatric Resuscitation (EPALS or equivalent)Working towards a relevant post-registration qualification (desirable)
Experience & Skills
Recent experience in an acute paediatric settingStrong clinical reasoning across complex paediatric casesExperience working both independently and as part of a teamSkilled in children's phlebotomyA passion for safeguarding and family-centred care
