We are looking for an experienced and motivated Radiology Manager to lead our radiology service and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services for patients and consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join Spire Healthcare and play a key role in driving excellence, innovation, and patient care within our imaging department.
Main duties of the job
Lead, inspire and champion a highperforming radiology team
Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services
Oversee daytoday service delivery ensuring safe, efficient, and patientfocused care
Plan, allocate and review workloads, offering constructive feedback and development
Take responsibility for effective use of physical and financial resources
Implement, monitor and refine departmental policies and processes
Delegate tasks appropriately to maximise efficiency and service quality
Ensure accurate and safe staffing levels aligned to patient needs
Promote a culture that actively supports health, safety and wellbeing
Lead on IRMER implementation and compliance across the department
Foster a culture of equality, inclusion and professional respect
Build strong relationships with Consultant Radiologists
Oversee all clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance activities

BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)Significant postqualification experience as a Senior Radiographer, Team Leader or ManagerProven experience in leading teams to deliver operational and clinical successAnalytical thinking and confident decisionmakingExperience with RIS/PACS and IEP systemsStrong understanding of IRMER legislationExcellent written, verbal and organisational skillsAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyA genuine passion for delivering highquality diagnostic careMRI experience (highly desirable)
