Bank Healthcare Assistant | Gatwick Park Hospital | Horley, West Sussex | Bank Flexible working, 0 hrs contract Spire Gatwick Park at looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the bank within outpatients. You are looking for an experienced HCA within Outpatients or acute surgical wards looking or flexible shifts.

Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the outpatient team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patients health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Job responsibilities

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Experience ideally within OPD, will consider acute surgical ward or POA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
    • Working Hours: Flexible shifts earlies 8-4, late 1-8 and Saturday 8-2 (we cannot guarantee how many shifts per week will be available) Opening times are 0730-2030. Shifts may vary on 7.5 hour shifts to long days if preferred. Contract Type: BANK, 0 hours contract Benefits
