Spire Leicester Hospital is looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Pre Operative Assessment team.

Main duties of the job

* Support the Lead Nurse in running a safe, effective, patient centred pre assessment service. * Provide and coordinate pre operative assessments, collaborating with Consultants, Anaesthetists, and wider clinical teams. * Deliver exceptional nursing care across a variety of specialities. * Use your clinical expertise to communicate sensitive and complex information with clarity and compassion. * Promote best practice in health and safety, infection control, and clinical governance. * Help continuously improve patient experience and departmental processes. * Mentor junior colleagues and deputise for senior staff when required. * Uphold NMC standards, safeguarding policies, confidentiality requirements, and our organisational values.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a hospital recognised for delivering exceptional patient care across the East Midlands and beyond. What you'll Be Doing In this pivotal role, you'll help ensure our patients are fully prepared for their upcoming procedures. No two days will be the same. You will:

  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and confidence working with varied and complex patient cases
  • Equipment and medical devices competency
