Support consultants in patient management; liaise with senior nurses regularly on patient progress. Lead Critical Care team during emergencies; deliver First Aid as needed. Perform ECGs, manage PCA/Epidurals, and handle venepuncture/cannulation tasks. Prepare/administer IV drugs, manage male/female catherisation, and interpret blood results. Conduct emergency airway management, assess/monitor patients including utilisation of invasive monitoring. Coordinate pain management with consultants; demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.
