The Role - What You'll Lead
As the Deputy Director of Clinical Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care across multiple clinical areas. You will:
- Provide exceptional clinical and managerial leadership to a range of teams
- Ensure safe, effective, and personcentred care delivery
- Drive innovation by introducing and embedding evidencebased clinical practices
- Champion continuous development, patient safety, and regulatory excellence
- Partner closely with the Hospital Director and Director of Clinical Services, supporting strategic initiatives and service growth
This role is full time 37.5 hours per week and requires on site presence 5 days a week.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a confident, forward-thinking clinical leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and brings:
- A proven track record of leading complex clinical teams to excellence
- Strong working relationships with regulators and a solid understanding of regulatory standards
- Experience in managing incidents, risks, and adverse events with integrity and transparency
- The ability to meet financial, operational, and quality KPIs
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Substantial postregistration professional development in relevant clinical subjects
- A robust blend of clinical expertise, management capability, and strategic leadership
- Degree or Master's-level education in a clinical or leadership field
- Senior clinical management experience (highly desirable)
