Our new Patient Support Centre based in St Mellons is recruiting for a Pre-Assessment Triage Nurse on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team.

Main duties of the job

Working autonomously, complete triaging for the hospitals who come under the PSC Requests medical information from General Practitioners and other healthcare providers to other to ensure all relevant information is available to enable an appropriate decision. Ensures patients meet the surgical admissions criteria for the appropriate level of care for the hospital. Ensures workload is carried out efficiently and to agreed standardised working practice and protocols. Effectively communicate with all members of the multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders. Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues. Work to national and local best practice policy and guidance.

Our new Patient Support Centre based in St Mellons is recruiting for a Pre-Assessment Triage Nurse on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team.

The post holder will be responsible for reviewing the clinical information of the NHS patients who have been referred to the Spire Hospitals that come under the umbrella of the Patient Support Centre.This is a non-patient facing role.

This role centres around assessing suitability of NHS patients who have been referred to our hospitals for intervention by reviewing patients medical history against our Elective Adult surgical admission guidance as Level 0-3 hospitals.

Duties and responsibilities:
