Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join their close knit and friendly team on a full time basis to cover day and nights across Monday - Sunday This unmissable opportunity ideally suits an experienced "all-rounder" who enjoys looking after general surgery patients including Orthopaedic, Urology, Bariatric surgery, Plastic surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.

Main duties of the job

As a staff nurse on the surgical ward, you will be supporting patients recovering from a range of different surgeries whilst providing high quality care. You will be joining this high performing team of experienced nurses who constantly receive excellent patient satisfaction feedback. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our consultant team Liaising and networking with other departments across the hospital Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others Promote best practice in health and safety and security

You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others. Who we are looking for: - NMC registered - pin should not have any restrictions or conditions - You will be used to working in teams with minimum supervision - Have at least 1 years surgical or A&E experience in a hospital setting - You will be a Registered Nurse and be used to working in teams with minimum supervision. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and additional training is also desirable.
