Job summary

Registered Children's Nurse, CYP, Bank shifts, West Sussex Spire Gatwick Park are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Children's Nurse to join our established nursing team in the Children and Young Peoples department.

Duties and responsibilities

  • You will support in assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.

  • You will be a Registered Nurse with no restriction on NMC PIN.
  • Experience of working on a children's ward
  • Be used to working in teams with minimum supervision
  • Child Protection level 3 training
  • Paediatric Resus Training
  • EPALS or equivalent
  • Hours: Adhoc shifts, across various days/hours as and when required Contract: Bank Benefits
  • Bank colleagues are paid weekly
