Main duties of the job
What Youll Be Doing:
- Deliver high-quality, planned perioperative care in our operating theatres.
- Assess and support patients across a varied and evolving caseload.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively.
- Champion best practices in safety, infection control, and patient equality.
- Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement.
- Use technology to support monitoring and treatment.
- Take responsibility for preventing Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs).

What Were Looking For:
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Experience inENT, Gynaecology, and Urologypreferred
- Working towards post-registration qualifications in perioperative practice or clinical specialism
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to work independently and within teams
- Up-to-date mandatory training including infection control and health & safety
- Equipment and medical device competencies
- English language proficiency (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 07:30 20:30
- Saturday: 07:30 18:00 (with on-call duties)
