Senior Radiographer | Permanent Full Time 37.5hrs pw | The Montefiore Hospital | Hove |

We are looking for an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join our dynamic team at The Montefiore Hospital Imaging Department in Hove.

The Senior MRI Radiographer will provide a customer-focused, high quality MRI Radiography service to our patients and stakeholders.

You will be part of a professional team delivering high quality radiographic services, whilst providing strong clinical leadership.

Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day running of the department
  • Experience in specialised imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, Radiology Cardiology is essential
  • To administer IV contrast (according to Spire protocol).
  • Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
  • Communicateappropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
  • Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained

Who we're looking for:

  • Previous experience/evidence as a Senior Radiographer
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent
  • Current Registered with the HCPC
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent critical thinking skills
  • IV injection certificate of competence
  • Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • UK experience

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hrs pw - Monday Saturday between the hours of 08:00 20:00
