Main duties of the job
Lead focused ADHD assessment clinics for children and young people within a structured CAMHS pathway.
Gather comprehensive histories from patients and families to inform clinical understanding.
Use clinical judgment and assessment tools to support diagnostic decisions.
Produce clear, high-quality reports with recommendations for next steps.
Maintain accurate records and ensure assessments meet professional and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
Work in a structured, manageable way that allows time for thorough evaluation and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and organisational policies.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in ADHD research and assessment techniques through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably within mental health or neurological settings.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to neurological assessments.
