Youll have the space to gather detailed histories, use standardised assessment tools effectively, and produce clear, well-considered reports all within a supportive and organised service. No overwhelming caseload. No constant firefighting. Just focused clinical work where your expertise is genuinely valued.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead focused ADHD assessment clinics for children and young people within a structured CAMHS pathway.

  • Gather comprehensive histories from patients and families to inform clinical understanding.

  • Use clinical judgment and assessment tools to support diagnostic decisions.

  • Produce clear, high-quality reports with recommendations for next steps.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure assessments meet professional and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

  • Work in a structured, manageable way that allows time for thorough evaluation and documentation.

    • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
    • Proven experience in patient care, preferably within mental health or neurological settings.
