Job summary

We are seeking a dedicatedHealthcare Assistant (HCA)to join the Endoscopy team within the NHS. This is an excellent opportunity to support vital procedures and contribute to patient care in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clinicians during endoscopy procedures.
  • Provide patient support and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
  • Prepare clinical areas and equipment for each list/clinic.
  • Ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within endoscopy or similar clinical settings.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to24 patients per list/clinic.
  • Flexibility to support3 lists/clinics per day.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
