Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join the team at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a structured weekend clinic setting.

Main duties of the job

  • Conduct cardiology clinics with a caseload of 25 patients per day.

  • Morning sessions: new face-to-face patients

  • Afternoon sessions:follow-up appointments

  • Provide accurate diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing patient management.

  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain compliance with NHS standards and best practices.

    • GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register in Cardiology.
    • Proven experience working as a Consultant Cardiologist.
    • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
