Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Non-Obstetric Sonographer to support weekend imaging services under an insourcing contract. This role focuses on Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Clinical Soft Tissue Work (CSW) ultrasound examinations and is ideal for professionals looking to supplement their weekday work or seeking flexible weekend hours.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MSK and CSW ultrasound scans
  • Produce accurate diagnostic reports in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring clinicians
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to clinical audits as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • HCPC registration or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound
  • Proven experience in MSK and CSW imaging
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently during weekend shifts

Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
  • Familiarity with AGFA RIS (Radiology Information System)
