Job summary

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ENT Consultant/Surgeon to join our team for ongoing weekend lists in our outpatient clinics and theatres. The successful candidate will provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of specialist training in Otolaryngology (ENT).
  • Proven experience in both outpatient and surgical settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

Working Hours:

  • Weekend shifts, including both outpatient clinics and theatre sessions.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outpatient clinics, assessing and managing patients with a variety of ENT conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures in the theatre, including but not limited to, tonsillectomies, septoplasties, and endoscopic sinus surgeries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide post-operative care and follow-up for surgical patients.
  • Participate in clinical audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of ENT services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ENT treatments and surgical techniques.
