Job summary

The Research Manager is responsible for liaising with Contract Research Organisations (CRO), the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials and research projects. They oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of multiple research projects and report directly to the Research Director.

This role involves providing comprehensive updates on budget management, research outcomes, and regulatory compliance to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Research Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining a consistent flow of clinical trials by actively engaging with stakeholders. This includes coordinating meetings, facilitating communication between different parties, and resolving any issues that may arise during the research. They also work closely with the finance team to manage project funding and ensure that financial resources are allocated appropriately. Furthermore, the Research manager is involved in the dissemination of research findings, ensuring that results are shared with the relevant scientific community and stakeholders.

Overall, the Research Manager is a key figure in the research process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance.

Main duties of the job
