HIV Clinical Nurse – Sexual Health Doncaster

We are expanding our Sexual Health Service in Doncaster and are seeking experienced, compassionate HIV Clinical Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team supporting approximately 500 people living with HIV.
This is a varied and autonomous role delivering high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient and community settings, while contributing to education, prevention and service development.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting newly diagnosed patients, including partner notification
Managing a caseload of patients living with HIV
Administering treatment and performing venepuncture
Contributing to MDT discussions and care planning
Providing psychosocial support and health promotion
Supporting safeguarding and women’s health (including antenatal care)
Delivering training to professionals and partner agencies
Main duties of the job
The main duties include informing newly diagnosed patients of their HIV status and performing partner notification.
Administering treatments and performing venepuncture.
Attending multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment and plan of care for stable and unstable patients.
Wellbeing and social support for both inpatients and outpatients.
Education and health promotion.
Safeguarding.
Teaching professionals one to one and in group settings.
Women's health - including ante natal support.
