Solutions4Health are delighted to be offering the role of Project Support Worker, Part Time Hybrid role (15 hours per week). Working Monday to Wednesday with occasional work from our office in Slough, Home and some travel across East Berkshire.This is a Permanent job with a salary of £25,396.80 FTE (pro rata £9,511.80 per year) depending on experience.

As a Project Support Worker, you will be the first point of contact for many service users, providing compassionate, informed support via phone and email. You’ll work collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner organisations to ensure a holistic, joined-up support offer. The role also includes coordinating and facilitating inclusive community-based social sessions.

You will play a central role in the delivery of two dynamic services:

GEMS – offering pre- and post-diagnosis support for children, young people, and their families.

Solutions 4 Diagnostics – supporting adults through the ADHD and autism assessment process. As a Project Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for many service users, providing compassionate, informed support via phone and email. You’ll work collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner organisations to ensure a holistic, joined-up support offer. The role also includes coordinating and facilitating inclusive community-based social sessions.

Project Support Worker

Essential

  • Relevant experience in community health, education, or social care settings.
  • Ongoing commitment to CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals who have, and families who have a child with ADHD/ASD.
  • Knowledge of the meaning of equal opportunities and an understanding of the impact of deprivation and discrimination on communities, families, and individuals.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities for self and service users.
  • Confidently able to speak to users and professionals on the phone with compassion and understanding and in a professional manner
  • Able to compose and correspond via written methods (email, letters) to users and professionals in a professional manner
  • Comfortable escalating issues and seeking management support when needed.
  • Experience of team working, inter-agency and partnership working
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Self-reliant in sourcing accurate information.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Dedicated team player and able to support in areas across the service when required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
