Solutions4Health is delighted to offer the position of Administrator/Receptionist in Herefordshire. This is a three-month Fixed Term Contract with a pro-rata salary of £25,147 to £27,596, depending on your experience.

Solutions4Health is an innovative company with a passion and a track record for tackling health inequalities. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Sexual Healthcare Support Worker/Receptionist to work as part of our dynamic Integrated Sexual Health Services team in Herefordshire.

The Sexual Healthcare Support Worker/Receptionist is a dual role that incorporates both high-quality clinical skills and comprehensive day-to-day administrative and clerical support within the Integrated Sexual Health Services Team.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Collate, review and update monthly data collection for the service in readiness for the quarterly report to be produced.

Support the team with Lilie, including advising on where to find coding information, best use of the system and GUMCAD

To ensure the GUMCAD is correct each month, liaising with the clinical team to correct any errors

Responding to correspondence within the SH mailbox

Reviewing and forwarding Social Media messages

Maintaining equipment lists and key logs

Confidence in discussing sexual health concerns or information with patients in an approachable, non-judgemental, sex-positive manner.

Signposting patients via the telephone and face-to-face to the most appropriate local services. Referring patients to the nurse triage service and distributing condoms and information to patients. 

Daily administration tasks and checks

Booking patients in at reception, supporting them in completing paperwork and entering personal information into the IT systems.

Printing labels/forms for clinical staff.

Stocking the administrative supplies and the clinical room supplies

Dealing with post and parcels.

Ensuring that the waiting room and non-clinical spaces are kept tidy and safe from hazards.

Answering the patient phone lines and looking at availability for booking appointments

Working in a team to work through follow-up appointments to be booked and referrals from other professionals

Completing letters on behalf of clinicians and providing administrative support including sending texts to patients, completing appointment cards and following up phone calls with patients who have missed appointments.

Providing non-clinical information and signposting to patients who require information about local services.
