Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for the overall day to day management of Dacorum Healthcare Providers and its functions and services. The post holder will be responsible for the financial performance of the organisation and oversee the financial functions, and the delivery of corporate objectives and business goals.
The General Manager is expected to lead the companies employees by overseeing and supervising their work to maximise efficiency and profitability.
The General Manager will lead on recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff to ensure that DHPL delivers on its service requirements within defined financial targets.
You will be joining an enthusiastic team of clinicians and administrators and will be well supported with on-going professional development (training support, CPD and peer support).
Main duties of the job
This is an important and responsible position requiring the postholder to manage and oversee the delivery of key projects and to develop strategies for new projects that may present themselves. The role is very hands on and is focused on delivery and success, The remit is broad, requiring attention to detail ensuring full compliance, high quality day to day operations and administration through to operational leadership working with the Board.
The post holder will be an effective manager of people encouraging training, motivating and able to optimise productivity and professional growth within DHPL.

Primary Care Networks (PCNs) supported by Dacorum Healthcare Providers Limited (DHPL) are developing new and exciting additional roles under the 2020 scheme to support GPs and clinical teams at enhancing patient services in the local community.
There is a wide socio-economic and demographic served within this area which will provide an interesting and varied case mix.
The role will contribute to improving quality of patient care across the network of practices.
DHPL has previously been awarded the Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group (HVCCG) Certificate of Achievement in recognition of exceptional contribution to the Primary Care workforce under the category of Supported Retention and Recruitment of Staff.
