Our vision is to ensure we transform patient care and practice working with innovation, technology and continuity at the heart of what we do. This has been successfully introduced at Barnsbury Medical Practice and in your role, you will support its development within Northern Medical Centre alongside our GP Design and Mobilisation lead. The service is constantly developing, and all members of the team are invited to be part of its design and evolution if they wish to be.

At the core of this team will be our hybrid GP workforce and clinical pharmacist team, integrated into the in-house clinical team and providing a critical role in processing clinical admin and providing patient access through remote consultation.

You will work as the GP lead of the clinical team delivering General Medical Services to registered patients at Northern Medical Centre (NMC). The post holder will also work within the wider Federation team including with the Primary Care Service Design Leads to contribute to clinical leadership across Federation practices, these being Barnsbury Medical Practice (BMP), Northern Medical Centre as well as a third practice that will soon be run by IGPF.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced GP who wishes to help lead the Northern clinical team. You will be working with practice-based pharmacists, a range of primary care nurses, HCAs, GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team. You should have at least three years experience as a fully qualified GP.

In your role you will also contribute to wider clinical primary care leadership in the Federation. You will be working with IGPF, a dynamic organisation where there is the possibility to adapt and develop with the practice team. IGPF is interested in building general practice that is sustainable for the future, maintains high quality care and is a pleasant place to work.

IGPF is currently in the process of understanding how planned care can be undertaken in a modern and manageable way. There is an opportunity to help design, implement and work within innovative systems of patient care.
