Job summary
We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Nottingham, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Our service user is a 4 year old boy who lives with his loving family in Nottingham, he requires support throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.
He is a charming and loving little boy that can be shy at first but soon warms up to people very quickly once getting to know you. He shows his loveable personality through physical touch and cuddles.
He loves to watch his favourite childrens TV shows especially CBeebies and Mr Tumble, he also likes watching a variety of shows on YouTube.
Main duties of the job
Throughout the day you will be supporting him with all aspects of his personal care needs including personal care, moving, and handling and attending to his clinical care needs when required. Your role will also include supporting his social care needs as well as promoting development through play. This role is perfect for someone who loves to engage through exploring activities such as sensory play and nursery rhyme singing, his favourite activity currently is playing with bubbles!
He normally settles into bed around 7:30pm, throughout the night you will be required to attend to his complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, Repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful nights sleep.
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time & Part Time
- Days & Waking Nights
- MonFri Days 1pm-7pm
- Saturday Days 12pm-5pm
- Nights 8pm-8am

Weekday £12.50 per hour (£75 approx. per 6-hour shift)
Weeknights £13.00 per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Saturday £13.50 per hour (£162 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Sunday £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
