Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of our home healthcare services. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee governance, and support the development of our clinical teams.

This is an office-based role with one day per week working from home and regional travel across our branch network.

Main duties of the job

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all regulatory and clinical standards are met
  • Support Health & Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management requirements
  • Provide clinical and safeguarding advice to support service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
  • Develop and support Clinical Nurse Specialists
  • Deputise for the Head of Clinical when required
  • Align clinical team objectives with business goals
  • Contribute to digital care planning implementation and review
  • Complete audits, including care plan sign-off
  • Oversee clinical operations and maintain high standards of care
  • Mentor and support clinical staff
  • Participate in recruitment and monitor clinical performance

  • Valid NMC Pin with 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Proven clinical leadership/management experience
  • Experience implementing new services and supporting process change
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using computer systems, especially Excel
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding for adults and children
  • Experience working within MDTs and presenting to stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

  • Knowledge of complex care delivery
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
